Welcome to the group!  This group is for both line artists and colourists of anime/manga styled artwork. This blog contains what you need to know about the group and what you can expect from it, and if you have any questions at the end then you can comment on the blog and ask and they can be added to this FAQ  So, once again welcome to the group, please enjoy your stay! What is accepted into the gallery?
While we understand it can be frustrating when groups discriminate against technical drawing skill level, the group will only be accepting lineart of a moderate/high skill level since these are what people will be looking for to colour. However, anyone can colour the lines so regardless of your skill level in colouring, if you have coloured a lineart that you have found here then you are welcomed to submit your coloured version to the group gallery. What is NOT accepted into the group gallery?
We also won't be accepting any line work that does not conform to the anime/manga style, or any that is 'uncolourable' such as sketches or work that has already been fully shaded or screened. Partially shaded/screened works are judged case by case, so feel free to submit them if you genuinely think they are colourable. Please only submit lines that are free to colour in any way by any person, since this is the purpose of the group. If you have a lineart of an OC of yours and only want them coloured in the 'correct' colours for said OC, then please do not submit the lineart here as people are given free reign to do what they like in terms of colour with the lines in the group. We won't accept any lines that have invasive watermarks - you are, of course, welcome to sign your linework but no watermarks please as they can make it difficult to colour the lines! How do I join?
You do need to be a member to submit your linearts to the gallery. You do not need to be a member to colour the lines you find here, but you will have to join if you'd then like to submit your coloured version of the lineart to the group gallery. How do I submit my artwork?
To submit a line art piece, after joining, simply click the 'Contribute art' button at the top of the home page and gallery page, or go into the gallery and click the + symbol on the Featured gallery. Please make sure you have read all the guidelines fully before submitting! To submit a coloured piece, if you are a member, then you can add the piece to the group gallery by going into the gallery and contributing to the 'Coloured Work' folder. If you are not a member of the group then you can contribute your coloured version to the group favourites. We only accept coloured versions of lines that are in the group gallery. Please make sure you have a link to the actual lineart that you have coloured in the artist comments of your coloured version so we can easily find the lines to check they are in our gallery. If you have no link to the lineart or if the lines are not in the group gallery then your coloured piece will be declined. Any questions, feel free to ask!
